The fitout, in a character building on Ponsonby Road was anything but straightforward. Tailor’s designers grappled with the dilapidated interior and complex planning restrictions to design an original concept store which includes a café, ‘groom room’ and a distinctive, compact and curated fashion offer that enabled the trial of ‘bagless’ shopping.

The result is a unique and befitting residence for Barkers, one that describes yet another original story for the brand which now sits naturally and authentically amongst the hip and heritage retail on this iconic Auckland road.
